This library entry contains background documents for a grant that Thammarat Koottatep is leading and which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The purpose of the project is to accelerate the effective and sustainable implementation of fecal sludge management projects in the urban poor communities where disposal of their excreta still relies upon non-sewer sanitation systems.

The Company Hydrophil from Austria is a project partner.
