In this online training programme on the preparation of Shit Flow Diagrams (SFD) you can learn how to make a SFD and how it serves as a tool to identify areas for intervention across sanitation service chains in cities. It summarizes complex sanitation information into an easy-to-understand graphic, as it simply shows how excreta is or is not contained along the sanitation service chain.
Taking forward the feedback received in the past, CSE - School of Water and Waste (SWW) organizing this 2 weeks long online training which will be delivered in a mix method approach consisting self-read material as well as virtual sessions.
You can expect the following learning outcomes:
- Learn about the SFD tool (graphic and report) and the history of their development
- Understand the need for a standardized methodology for SFD preparation
- Hands on experience on preparing an SFD
- Step by step guidance and technical support for preparing an SFD and publishing it on the SuSanA global database
